Val Cavallina keeps an unpolluted natural environment. The tourist who reaches Val Cavallina discovers that the strong presence of man leaves space to pleasant and cosy landscapes, to places rich of history, surrounded by gardens, churches and castles immersed in a luxuriant and varied nature, strongly protected by local administrators and citizens.
The purest expressions of nature, from thermal springs to flowers, from charming walks to naturalistic oasis, from the calm of the lake to the magic of astonishing landscapes, these and many other treasures are enclosed in few kilometres.
Water, with thermal springs and suggestive lake – basins, the Lake Endine and the Lake Gaiano, is the natural element which characterizes the valley.
But it’s not enough: there are also the Water Valley in Luzzana and two naturalistic oasis, the Cold Valley, unique biotype whose currents allow, at only 340 metres of altitude, the survival of alpine vegetal species and the WWF oasis of Valpredina, which preserves on the contrary a typical vegetation of the Mediterranean zone.
